PEGGY HARLEY, born into a musical dynasty, is an incredibly powerful singing sensation whom has much to convey through her melodious emotion filled; rich sounding vocals as well, as through her often tear jerking, motivating and mood setting lyrics A full timer on the music scene, Peggy’s arranging skills as well as vocal versatility, has opened the doors for her to sing background, on record and tour with Mariah Carey, Kenny Loggins, George Michael’s, INXS, Luther Vandross, Patti LaBelle, Jonathan Butler, Shirley Caesar, Yolanda Adams, Vanessa Bell Armstrong, Richie Havens,Glen Jones and Barbra Streisand, to name a few. Ms. Harley has performed all over Europe, and Paris specifically continues to welcome her with open arms. Some of her credits while overseas include performing with the Gospel Caravan at the Port De Saint Martin Theatre and the Theatre De Paris in addition to the well Known Paris Opera House. While on tour, Peggy recorded the album the “Gospel Caravan ” and was the film lead in the movie entitled the same. After teaming up with record producer Todd Terry, working and collaborating for several years for various record companies such as RCA, Capital and Arista, Todd and Peggy teamed up to release a single entitled “Just Make That Move” which is an anthem of sorts in theTodd Terry collection. Peggy’s newest venture with 4: AM RECORDS, has provided a platform for her to take creative control of her music as well as write and produce music for other artists and record companies. All intents and purposes are clear in Ms. Harley’s meaning of creative control; as she cites all of the lyrical and musical credits on her forth coming CD “Against The Grain”. Peggy was recently presented with a Platinum Record Award by Atlantic Records for her solo contribution on Trans Liberian Orchestras Project.
